Telecalling Job Description
Job Title: Telecaller / Telecalling Executive
Job Summary:
A Telecaller is responsible for handling outbound and inbound calls to customers. The role includes explaining products or services, generating leads, resolving customer queries, and maintaining positive relationships with clients.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to potential or existing customers
- Handle inbound calls and respond to customer inquiries
- Explain products/services clearly and persuade customers
- Generate sales leads or close sales (depending on role)
- Maintain records of calls and customer details
- Follow up with customers for feedback or future sales
- Achieve daily/weekly/monthly targets
- Resolve customer complaints or escalate when necessary
🎯 Required Skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in required languages (e.g., English, Hindi, etc.)
- Persuasive and convincing ability
- Basic computer knowledge (CRM tools, MS Excel, etc.)
- Patience and active listening skills
- Ability to handle rejection and pressure
🎓 Qualifications
- Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent
- Preferred: Graduate in any field
- Prior experience in sales/customer service is an advantage
⏰ Working Conditions
- Office or call center environment
- May involve shift work (including night shifts for international processes)
- Performance-based targets and incentives
