Mactores runs two entities, one in India and one in the US. The finance function is two people. You'll be one of them.

Accounting is outsourced today. You'll bring it in house, and you'll run it daily rather than monthly.

That daily part is the job. The books close every day, not every month. Cash position is published every day. Transactions are categorized the day they land. The founders query the ledger directly using AI tools, which means the data has to be clean continuously, not tidied up in the first week of the following month. Month end becomes a review rather than an excavation.

You'll own both entities, India and the US: daily close, cash forecasting, revenue recognition on fixed-fee SOWs, AP and AR, collections, budget versus actual on partner-funded programs, and the statutory calendar in two countries. External firms stay on to review, a CPA firm on the US side and a CA firm in India. You report to the founders. Nobody will chase you. You run it.

Working hours are 2:00 pm to 11:30 pm IST. That covers the Indian business afternoon and the US East Coast morning, so you can reach an auditor in Mumbai and a customer in New York on the same day.

What you'll do?

• Keep the books current every day in QuickBooks for the US and Zoho Books for India. Categorize transactions, clear bank feeds, and reconcile as things happen. At the end of any given day the ledger should reflect reality.
• Publish a daily cash position across both entities and both currencies, with a rolling 13-week forecast covering receivables expected in, payables and payroll going out, and statutory payments due. Founders review it weekly, which means it has to be right daily.
• Keep the ledger queryable. Consistent chart of accounts, consistent vendor and customer naming, class and location tagging by entity and business unit, nothing parked in suspense or left uncategorized. The founders ask questions of the books using AI tools, and an agent will answer confidently from bad data.
• Run budget versus actual reporting on MDF and MDF-like programs. This spend goes through a PO process rather than company cards, so you'll track each program from approved budget through PO committed, invoice received, paid, claimed, and reimbursed. Flag overspend, ineligible cost, and approaching claim deadlines before they cost us the claim.
• Chase the pieces that make that report true: PO approvals, vendor invoices, and proof-of-performance documentation from the teams running the programs. Card spend is already classified by our expense tool, so this is the part that needs a person, politely and repeatedly, without escalating each time.
• Run revenue collection. Invoice against SOW milestones, follow up by email on everything outstanding, and tell the founders what is at risk before it becomes a problem rather than after.
• Take the books in house from the current provider's team. Get the records, the portal access, and the opening balances, work out what was being done loosely, and stand up a process you would sign your name to. The provider's CA stays on as India reviewer, so you inherit the work rather than the relationship.
• Recognize revenue on fixed-fee, fixed-date SOWs. Separate assessment and POC contracts from production SOWs, track performance obligations across periods, and account for consideration that varies with delivery commitments.
• Handle the unusual streams: AWS partner economics, including marketplace disbursements, MAP funding claims, rebates and co-sell incentives, plus sales compensation accruals covering commission on collected revenue, logo-based bonuses, advances against bonus, and forfeiture conditions.
• Own the compliance calendar for both geographies, manage the external firms who review and file, reconcile intercompany monthly, and maintain transfer pricing support. You prepare, they review, nothing slips.
• Prepare and initiate payments for founder review and approval. You are the maker, a founder is the checker, and that separation stays in place as volume grows

What we're looking for?

• Chartered Accountant, India, with at least 3 years of professional experience after articleship.
• Full ownership of a close at least once, from open items through to financials someone signed off. Not one slice of a close run by somebody else.
• Follow-through as a habit rather than an intention. Most of this job is small things done on time, every time: transactions categorized the same day, receivables chased, PO documentation collected before a claim deadline. If you need someone to remind you, this is the wrong role.
• The temperament to chase people without friction. You will spend real time asking colleagues for PO paperwork and program documentation, and customers for money, and you need to get both without making enemies or escalating every instance.
• Budget versus actual reporting against a fixed program budget, with commitments tracked separately from incurred cost. If you have done restricted-fund, grant, or project accounting, that is the same shape as what we need.
• Comfort in two ledgers and two currencies, with the discipline to keep them reconciled rather than nearly reconciled.
• Judgment to work without a controller above you. You know which questions you answer, which go to the external CPA, and which go to a founder, and you escalate early rather than guessing.
• Availability for 2:00 pm to 11:30 pm IST. The late half of the day is when the US work happens, and it is not an occasional thing.
• Clear written English. You'll write collection emails to US customers, and questions to external advisors and the founders.

You'll be preferred if you

• Hold a US CPA, or are working toward it. We will sponsor the remaining exams and fees.
• Have run a daily or weekly close rather than only a monthly one, and can describe what you changed to make that sustainable.
• Have built a rolling cash forecast that someone actually made decisions from.
• Have applied ASC 606 or Ind AS 115 to services revenue, particularly fixed-fee engagements where consideration moves with delivery.
• Have worked inside a US and India two-entity structure, including intercompany and transfer pricing.
• Have handled cloud partner program accounting for AWS, Azure, or GCP, including marketplace settlements, MDF or MAP funding claims, and rebates.
• Have tracked restricted funds or grants where spend had to stay inside approved categories and be claimed before a deadline. Sector does not matter. The mechanics transfer.
• Have automated part of a close in any tool. We build agents for a living, and we would rather you script a reconciliation than repeat it forty times.

Legacy infrastructure doesn't retire itself. Someone has to build the pipelines, rehearse the cutover, and carry the release into production  and that's this seat. As a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer, you serve our application and infrastructure modernization work: you own build and release cycles for customer projects, land migrations from legacy hardware to AWS, and make deployments boring in the best sense of the word.

Agents change what this job looks like day to day. Aedeon and automation handle the repetitive discovery, mapping, and validation work that used to eat engineer hours. That leaves you the parts that actually need a senior engineer: infrastructure architecture, risk tradeoffs, release judgment, and the operational standards the whole team ships against. You'll work client-facing, embedded with customer teams, and the delivery commitment is one you carry personally.

What we are looking for?

• 4+ years with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) including modules, remote state, state management, imports and multi account providers.
• Experience in designing highly available and secure AWS architecture within strong understanding of RTO/RPO and DR Strategies.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Database Developer to lead and support Oracle to PostgreSQL/Aurora PostgreSQL migration initiatives. The role involves deep hands-on work across SQL refactoring, schema conversion, DMS operations, performance tuning, and post–go-live stabilization. The candidate will work closely with application teams, cloud engineers, and stakeholders to ensure a smooth, performant, and compliant migration.

What you will do?

• Refactor and convert Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and database objects to PostgreSQL-compatible SQL/PLpgSQL.
• Analyze and remediate AWS SCT (Schema Conversion Tool) findings and limitations.
• Manage and maintain Flyway migration codebase (versioned scripts, repeatable migrations, rollbacks).
• Identify, troubleshoot, and fix database-related application bugs.
• Perform query optimization for PostgreSQL (execution plans, indexing strategies, query rewrites).
• Support and monitor AWS DMS during full load and CDC phases.
• Diagnose and resolve DMS data and performance issues.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as an Oracle/PostgreSQL DBA and database developer.
• Strong experience with Oracle Database and PostgreSQL / Aurora PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on expertise in Oracle to PostgreSQL migration.
• Advanced SQL and query performance tuning skills.
• Experience with AWS SCT and AWS DMS.
• Knowledge of Flyway/Liquibase or similar schema migration tools.

As a Partner Solutions Architect, you own that documentation across all of our partnerships, not just AWS. You're given project and architecture details by the delivery team, and you turn them into the competency documentation each partner program requires, and into case studies you can explain and defend to a partner reviewer, to a prospect, to anyone asking "what did Mactores actually ship here." AI tools are fair game for drafting; the bar is on accuracy and whether it holds up under questioning. Do this well, and the natural next step is a presales architect role, taking these case studies and this partner fluency directly into prospect conversations.

What you’ll do?

• Create and maintain competency documentation across all of Mactores' partnerships AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, Anthropic, OpenAI using project and architecture details provided by the delivery team.
• Produce the technical validation write-ups, architecture diagrams, and case study documentation each partner's competency and service delivery program requires.
• Build a working command of Mactores' case studies well enough to explain them clearly the problem, the architecture, the outcome to partner reviewers, prospects, or internal stakeholders.
• Use AI tools to accelerate drafting, while owning the accuracy and review-readiness of the final document.
• Keep documentation format and quality consistent across partners and engagements.
• Flag gaps in the project details you're given when they're not sufficient to produce audit-ready documentation.
• Work against fixed deadlines tied to partner program renewal and review cycles.

What we’re looking for?

• 2–3 years of experience in technical documentation, solutions architecture, or a related role touching AWS and/or modern data/AI platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, Anthropic, OpenAI).
• Working knowledge of cloud architecture concepts enough to read a design across different platforms and document it accurately.
• Strong technical writing skills; comfortable turning raw project detail into a document that reads cleanly to an external reviewer.
• Comfortable explaining technical case studies out loud, not just writing them this role grows toward customer-facing work.

Forward-deployed engineers (FDEs) are Mactores' services layer. You embed with the customer's team, own outcomes from discovery through the production cutover, and personally carry the delivery commitment.

The agent platform we deploy absorbs 60–70% of engagement work, discovery, assessment, design, and testing. You absorb the judgment: target architecture, refactoring trade-offs, model selection, cutover strategy, and the decisions an agent platform cannot make. The agent absorbs scale. You absorb judgment. 

This is not a staff-augmentation seat and not an advisory role. You ship.

What you will do?

• Deliver production agentic AI systems and AWS modernization engagements on committed dates across three pillars: Data Platform Modernization, Application & Database Modernization, and AI Agents for Apps.
• Build and productionize AI agents, orchestration, retrieval pipelines, evaluation harnesses, observability running against real customer data, not demo data.
• Convert existing products into agents: expose product functionality as callable tools for agent-to-agent composition, or replace form-and-click UX with agent-native, intent-driven interfaces.
• Convert existing Business processes into agents: expose process functionality as callable tools for agent-to-agent composition, or replace form-and-click UX with agent-native, intent-driven interfaces.
• Embed directly with customer engineering teams. Run architecture sessions, defend design decisions, and align stakeholders from VP Engineering to CTO.

What are we looking for?

• Excellent communication skills (English) — verbal and written. Non-negotiable. You will present architecture to customer CTOs, write documents that hold up in audit, and defend judgment calls in the room. If you can build but not explain, this role is not a fit.
• You have shipped production agentic AI systems on AWS. Not POCs, not notebooks — systems running in production for real users. This is the primary qualification. Be prepared to walk through what you shipped, the decisions you made, and what broke.
• Deep understanding of agentic architecture — you can design an agent system from first principles and explain why each component exists:
• Agent design patterns: single-agent vs. multi-agent systems, supervisor/orchestrator patterns, hierarchical agent topologies, planner–executor separation, and when each applies.
• Orchestration: building and operating orchestrator agents that decompose tasks, route work to specialist agents or tools, and manage state across multi-step workflows (LangGraph, Strands Agents, CrewAI, or equivalent).
• Memory: short-term/working memory (context management, conversation state) and long-term memory (episodic and semantic stores, vector- and graph-backed retrieval), and the production trade-offs of each.
• Reflection and self-correction: critique loops, self-evaluation, retry-with-feedback patterns, and evaluation harnesses that catch agent failures before customers do.
• Tool use and function calling: schema design, tool-selection reliability, error handling, and agent-to-agent composition.
• RAG and retrieval pipelines: chunking, embedding, hybrid retrieval, reranking, and grounding agent decisions in customer data.
• Strong AWS production experience: Amazon Bedrock and AWS AI services, plus core platform services (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, RDS/Aurora, Glue, EMR, Redshift, Kinesis, or similar depending on specialization).
• Solid software engineering fundamentals Python, TypeScript, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, testing-driven development discipline.
• Experience with data or application modernization (database migration, legacy refactoring, data platform builds) is a strong plus, since agents run against these workloads.
• Indicative experience: roughly 3–10 years in engineering roles, with agentic AI / GenAI as your current day job. We have demonstrated agent-native expertise over tenure — an engineer with 3–4 years of hands-on agentic AI work typically outperforms a 12-year generalist on this work.

You'll be preferred if you've:

• US English verbal and written fluency 
• Delivery experience in one or more of our verticals: Financial Services, Healthcare & Life Sciences, Internet & Software, Manufacturing, or Telco/Media/Entertainment/Gaming/Sports.
• Model tuning and fine-tuning: systematic prompt engineering and optimization; parameter-efficient fine-tuning (LoRA/QLoRA or similar); instruction tuning; working knowledge of RLHF/DPO; sound judgment on when to fine-tune vs. prompt vs. RAG; and evaluation of tuned models against baselines. Fine-tuning experience on Amazon Bedrock or SageMaker is a plus.
• Experience with compliance-sensitive AI systems (HIPAA, PCI-DSS, SOC 2, data residency).
• Knowledge graph, code-analysis (AST), or CDC/streaming experience (Debezium, Kafka/MSK).
• Solid software engineering fundamentals — Java, C++, Go Lang, .Net, Rust
• Prior customer-facing consulting or forward-deployed experience.
• AWS certifications (Solutions Architect Professional, Machine Learning Specialty, or Data Analytics).

Why This Role?

• You own outcomes, not tickets. FDEs carry the delivery commitment personally — architecture, judgment, and cutover are yours.
• You work agent-native from day one. Our delivery model would not function without agents. You build with the platform, not around it.
• You ship. Engagements measured in weeks to production, legacy retired, outcomes named. No archived pilots.
• You compound. Field delivery informs the Aedeon platform roadmap; the platform's growth expands what you can deliver. Few engineering roles sit in that loop.

You'll own heterogeneous database migrations end to end for enterprise customers moving off Oracle and SQL Server onto PostgreSQL and Aurora PostgreSQL. That means running the AWS DMS and SCT toolchain, then doing the part the tools can't: rebuilding procedural business logic in PL/pgSQL when SCT flags a gap it can't close on its own. You ship the runbook, you run the cutover, you validate the result. 

What you'll do?

• Lead end-to-end database migration initiatives, including assessment, planning, schema conversion, execution, and post-migration validation.
• Design, configure, and manage AWS DMS and SCT environments while ensuring migration quality, performance, and reliability.
• Author comprehensive migration runbooks that define execution procedures, validation checkpoints, rollback plans, and operational readiness activities.
• Perform database migration assessments, dependency analysis, compatibility reviews, and migration strategy recommendations.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, application, security, and platform teams to ensure successful migration outcomes.
• Drive migration testing activities, including functional validation, performance testing, failover testing, and production readiness reviews.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to migration teams while ensuring adherence to AWS migration best practices and governance standards.
• Lead conversion and refactoring of procedural database code — Oracle PL/SQL (packages, procedures, functions, triggers, cursors) and SQL Server T-SQL (stored procedures, functions, triggers) — into PostgreSQL/Aurora PostgreSQL PL/pgSQL, resolving semantic and behavioral differences identified by SCT.

What we're looking for?

• 8–12 years of professional experience in database architecture and migration delivery
• Hands-on expertise in AWS Database Migration Service (DMS) and AWS Schema Conversion Tool (SCT) for enterprise-scale database migrations
• Deep proficiency in Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Aurora PostgreSQL environments, including migration planning, execution, and optimization
• Proven background in delivering heterogeneous database migrations across on-premises, cloud, and AWS environments
• Knowledge of production database operations, including backup and restore strategies, parameter tuning, performance optimization, and failover testing
• Skills in authoring and executing migration runbooks, validation plans, cutover procedures, rollback strategies, and post-migration stabilization activities
• Strong understanding of AWS database services, migration best practices, and integration with broader cloud migration programs
• Experience engaging directly with enterprise customers, architecture teams, and migration stakeholders to drive successful delivery outcomes
• Strong hands-on experience converting Oracle PL/SQL and SQL Server T-SQL business logic to PL/pgSQL, including handling of exception handling models, cursor semantics, autonomous transactions, sequences/identity columns, implicit data type conversions, and proprietary built-in packages/functions with no native PostgreSQL equivalent
• Ability to identify and remediate SCT action items and manual conversion gaps in procedural code (e.g., DBMS_* packages, UTL_* utilities, SQL Server system procedures, dynamic SQL, and nested/recursive procedure calls) and validate converted logic through functional and regression testing.

You'll be preferred if you

• Have tuned production database performance, backup and restore strategy, and failover testing in high-stakes environments.
• Have led migration teams or mentored engineers through complex conversions.
• Bring experience with broader AWS cloud migration programs beyond the database layer.

Mactores is looking for a Project Manager who will own the delivery, which means scope, timelines, budget, and the team's sprint execution — not just facilitation. The ideal candidate will run the daily, sprint, and client cadences for distributed engineering teams across India and three US timezones, translate fluently between engineering and business stakeholders, and push back on scope creep with data.

We are looking for a PM who gets things done — the person who personally removes blockers, drives escalations to closure, and makes sure no risk reaches the client as a surprise. 

Note: This role is not for you.

• If your default is to forward messages between the client and engineering.
• Your role has primarily been reporting/coordination without delivery or ownership.
• You have only facilitated agile ceremonies without driving delivery outcomes.
• Sprint ownership and execution were largely driven by a Business Analyst or Product Owner in your previous roles.

What you will do

• Build the project plan in Smartsheet from the Solutions Architect's scope of work — real dependencies, a defensible critical path, and sprint boundaries overlaid on the timeline.
• Track scope, hours, and budget in real time. Flag burn-rate risk early and push back on scope creep with numbers, not gut feel.
• Maintain a live risk register. Identify risks before they become issues, surface the right ones to the client at the right time, and drive mitigation actively.
• Maintain a live RAID log (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) along with an action tracker to ensure clear ownership, accountability, and timely closure.
• Run crisp daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and sprint retrospectives that produce decisions, not discussions.
• Remove sprint blockers personally. Chase the client-side data dependency, escalate the stuck cloud permission, redirect pulled resources — do not let "waiting on" sit in a log for days.
• Handle sprint-level risks in real time: reprioritize, descope, swap stories, or escalate before commitments slip.

• Own customer escalations end-to-end and drive them to resolution. Communicate status, risks, and decisions needed — proactively, not reactively.
• Onboard engineers on customer systems, scope, process, deliverables, and documentation standards.
• Create kick-off presentations, project charters, and tracking mechanisms in collaboration with the customer.
• Maintain meeting notes, recorded calls, and a clean project documentation library.
• Review and approve timesheets and leaves; keep capacity planning and team calendar management accurate.
• Negotiate scope changes with data. Produce formal change requests with impact analysis — hours, timeline, trade-offs, options — before anyone commits the team to additional work.

What are we looking for

• 3+ years of delivery experience on cloud engineering or data engineering projects.
• 3+ years as a Project Manager working with customers in US timezones.
• Hands-on fluency with Smartsheet, Jira / Confluence, and Clockify — you can stand up the tooling on day one.
• Excellent written and spoken communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills; able to hold your ground with a skeptical client engineering director and coach a junior engineer in the same afternoon.
• Strong prioritization and problem-solving instincts. You make trade-offs explicit rather than quietly absorbing them.
• A demonstrable track record of driving outcomes — not just reporting on them.
• Demonstrated experience managing at least one fixed-bid project end-to-end, including scope change negotiation with clients.
