Position Overview:

The Mobile Application Developer will be the primary resource responsible for Envoy’s mobile offering.  They will develop improvements using Ionic, as well as manage deployment to the appropriate app stores.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop solutions in Ionic with focus on building scalable, maintainable and secure code, while providing an intuitive, modern user experience
• Actively collaborate with business, production support, and other software engineers
• Maintain the mobile apps status and manage deployments to Google’s and Apple’s app stores
• Keep up to date and champion the latest mobile technology and methodologies

Position Requirements:

• At least 7 years of experience with mobile development OR a modern web platform such as Angular, React or Vue.js
• At least 2 years of experience and demonstrated expert knowledge of Ionic.
• Experience with maintaining and deploying mobile applications to Google’s and Apple’s app stores
• Ability to “own” a project and be a strong contributor without constant management.
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills

The Data Quality Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, documenting and performing data quality checks across all data assets developed at Envoy. That includes ETL jobs, reports, dashboards and data pipelines. The primary goal for this role is to ensure high quality of data delivered to internal stakeholders and customers. Validation of data in data repositories (DW, Data Marts) against data from source systems and validation of metrics and data in reports/dashboards against data in the repositories is a key responsibility. Essentially, making data assets consistently accurate for users.

As the successful candidate, you will be required to:

 

• Design, develop and maintain data quality assurance framework
• Work in conjunction with BI and Data Engineers to ensure high quality Data Deliverable
• Design and develop testing frameworks to test ETL jobs, BI reports and Dashboards and other data pipelines
• Write SQL scripts to validate data in the data repositories against the data in the source systems
• Write SQL scripts to validate data surfacing in BI assets against the data sources
• Ensure data quality by checking against our ODS and the front-end application
• Track, monitor and document testing results

 

To be eligible for this role, you should possess the following:

• Demonstrated ability to write complex SQL/TSQL queries to retrieve/modify data
• Ability to work in an Agile environment
• Ability to learn new tools and technologies and adapt to an evolving tech-scape

We are hiring a Technical Business Analyst who wants to advance their knowledge and experience in Privacy & Security. The ideal candidate will have interest and experience in data privacy and application & data security. We will be providing training resources to ramp up on privacy & security, but candidates with technical background, and interest in privacy & security are preferred.

As the successful candidate, you will be required to: 

• Gathering and documenting needs and use of data from internal and external stakeholders, including privacy requirements based on laws & regulations, document security best practices and requirements.
• Research, analyze, and document business requirements. Prepare high quality analysis such as summarizing security best practices, privacy laws, business requirements specifications, functional and technical specifications, traceability matrices, etc.
• Create user stories based on functional requirements gathered from business teams.
• Work with developers and support teams to resolve defects and environment issues
• Creating data and process workflows.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Engage and work closely with development team and stakeholders, including attending scrum meetings.

To be eligible for this role, you should possess the following: 

• Bachelor’s or Engineering Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 4+ years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst.
• 2+ years of experience using JIRA and Confluence.
• Should have good communication and presentation skills with the ability to adapt to a range of audiences
• Must be self-driven, self-motivated with good soft skills.
• Must have good software engineering skills, thorough knowledge of SDLC, STLC.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Quick learner and attention to detail
• Portray strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to work within a collaborative team environment; Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects
• Open for new challenges and learning and flexible to work and support the team as per the business need
• Understand and analyze Business, Functional, and technical requirements of the project
• Knowledge in using any of the bug tracking tool like Bugzilla/Jira

Skills Required

• 8+ years of strong programming experience on .NET platform
• Expertise in C#, ASP.NET Web API / Typescript / Angular (or any front-end framework or passion to learn Angular)
• Hands on experience with SQL
• Azure experience is a plus but not a deal breaker
• Knowledge and experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript (fundamental building blocks of web development)
• Experience designing high-level and low-level design of the system
• Experience with microservices architecture is a plus
