Jobs at Bharat Intelligence
Software Development Engineer
📍 Bangalore (On-site) · Reporting to the CTO · 2–7 years experience
We're hiring a Software Development Engineer to build the systems that keep real-world operations running - from customer-facing products to the internal tools field teams rely on every morning. If you want your code to matter to people standing in a warehouse or walking a route, not just to a dashboard, read on.
What you'll do
- Design, build, and ship across the stack: backend services, APIs, mobile and web field apps, and operational dashboards
- Build the systems that run daily operations: deployment, attendance, check-in/check-out, work verification, and issue resolution
- Make products work where the network doesn't — offline-first and vernacular-first experiences built for field-heavy, low-connectivity conditions
- Own features end to end, from design discussions to deployment to on-call
- Work shoulder to shoulder with Product, Ops, and field users to solve what's actually happening on the ground
- Contribute to the data pipelines and analytics that power planning, forecasting, and unit economics
What we're looking for
- 2–7 years building and shipping production software
- Comfortable across the stack, or deep in one area and eager to stretch
- A strong ownership mindset — you ship, you debug production issues at odd hours, and you care whether it actually works for the user
- Pragmatic with trade-offs, able to balance speed against quality without losing either
- Bonus: experience building for low-bandwidth, offline-first, next-billion-user contexts
If your code breaks here, it doesn’t just throw an error.
Jobs don’t get fulfilled. Farmers lose trust during crop windows that don’t wait.
We’re hiring a Software Development Engineer in Bangalore to build the systems that keep real-world operations running — from customer-facing products to the internal tools field teams depend on every morning.
→ Design, build, and ship across the stack: backend services, APIs, mobile/web field apps, and operational dashboards
→ Build systems for deployment, attendance, check-in/check-out, work verification, and issue resolution
→ Make products work in low-connectivity, field-heavy conditions with offline-first and vernacular-first experiences
→ Own features end to end — from design discussions to deployment to on-call
→ Work closely with Product, Ops, and field users to solve what’s actually happening on the ground
→ Contribute to data pipelines and analytics that power planning, forecasting, and unit economics
• 1–5 years building production software
• Comfortable across the stack, or deep in one area and ready to stretch
• Strong ownership mindset — you ship, debug production issues, and care if it works for the user
• Pragmatic with trade-offs and able to balance speed with quality
• Bonus if you’ve built for low-bandwidth, offline-first, next-billion-user contexts
Stack: Python, Django, React, PostgreSQL, Redis, AWS/GCP, Docker, CI/CD
You’ll be building software for the real economy — farmers, labour, livelihoods — not another dashboard for another SaaS tool.

Most product manager roles optimise screens.
This one optimises what happens on the ground.
We’re hiring a Product Manager to own a core product area end to end — from strategy and roadmap to execution and outcomes.
You’ll build software that improves real-world execution quality: whether a booked job gets fulfilled, starts and ends on time, meets standards, and happens at the right cost.
If you like building at the intersection of product, ops, and field reality — this is that role.
→ Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for a core product area
→ Tie product decisions to business metrics like fulfilment, timeliness, variance, rework, and cost
→ Work closely with Supply, Demand, and City Ops to turn messy ground problems into scalable systems
→ Lead a pod of engineers and designers, make trade-offs, and ship continuously
→ Build dashboards, escalation systems, exception management, and software-driven SOPs
→ Spend time in the field with farmers, supervisors, and mukadams to make better product decisions
• 2–7 years in product with ownership of a meaningful product area
• Strong track record of taking products from problem to launch to measurable impact
• Systems thinker who can balance supply, demand, operations, and economics
• Comfortable with data, dashboards, and SQL/Sheets
• Strong stakeholder management across cross-functional teams
• High respect for on-ground reality in field-heavy environments
Bonus if you bring experience in rural India, agriculture, informal labour markets, new city launches, or 0→1 builds.
📍 Bangalore (on-site; regular field travel expected) | Reporting to CPO

If you want to learn product by building in the real world—not just from slides and dashboards—this is that role.
We’re hiring an Associate Product Manager to turn messy ground reality into product that actually gets used.
→ Own features and product areas end to end, from problem definition to launch to iteration
→ Spend time with users in the field and turn observations into clear product requirements
→ Work day-to-day with engineering and design to ship
→ Use data across fulfilment, on-time start/completion, rework, and complaints to figure out what to build next
→ Run launches, coordinate rollouts, train teams when needed, and track adoption
→ Ship, measure, learn, iterate
• 0–2 years of experience in product, consulting, ops, analytics, engineering—or a strong builder mindset
• Sharp structured thinking and real curiosity about why people behave the way they do
• Comfortable with data and spreadsheets
• Strong written and verbal communication
• High agency—you chase answers and don’t wait to be told what to do
• Comfortable with ambiguity and fast-moving environments
Bonus if you:
• Speak Marathi/Hindi
• Have exposure to rural India, agriculture, blue-collar operations, or informal labour markets
• Have built or shipped something real
Why this role?
A real, hard, physical-world product problem. Close mentorship from senior product leadership. The kind of ownership most people wait years to get.

About the company
finban gives small and mid-sized companies a clear view of their financial future. The platform connects bank accounts (PSD2), accounting systems such as DATEV, Lexware Office and sevdesk, payment providers like Stripe and PayPal, CRM systems and spreadsheets — and consolidates them into a single, always-current liquidity plan.
What sets finban apart is how it handles data. Instead of forcing one source of truth, actuals from the bank, open receivables and payables from accounting, and forward-looking budget assumptions coexist side by side. As real payments come in, they replace the plan automatically. The result is a forecast that stays accurate without manual maintenance.
Built in Germany, finban today serves primarily the DACH market — with an integration and banking layer designed to extend across Europe and beyond. It's made for companies of up to around 100 employees: teams that need serious financial visibility but don't have a dedicated treasury department to produce it.
