GitHubWe need a senior, hands-on Ansible + Python automation expert to define automation standards, build scalable solutions, and act as the final technical authority for code quality and design. This is not just a developer role — it combines technical leadership, governance & standards ownership, and hands-on development.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Led or owned automation standards / frameworks
- Strong Ansible + Python development experience
- Experience reviewing/approving code or design
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar)
We will not consider profiles with:
- Only scripting experience (no architectural/guidance role)
- No experience with Ansible at scale
- No exposure to code reviews / governance / standards
- Pure operations profiles without development depth
Ideal candidate positioning: Senior Automation Architect / Lead DevOps Engineer / Ansible Lead Developer
Interview mode: Face-to-Face only (mandatory)
Reporting: Day 1 reporting post offer, industrial sector site
Job Description
CAP Developer (back-end / full-stack/ front-end)
o Possess 4+ years of product development experience.
o Strong cloud native development experience - BTP, strong proficiency in SAP Cloud Application Programming (CAP) using NodeJS/Typescript, Java experience is of advantage
o Proficiency in front-end frameworks is a plus (SAPUI5, Three.js, React.js) and front-end programming languages (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript)
o Experience /Knowledge in the full life cycle of software development, from design and implementation to testing and deployment and knowledge of agile software development processes.
o Knowledge of lean development infrastructure process including Git, TeamCity, Jenkins etc. and exposure to Continuous Delivery practices
o Strong understanding of distributed systems, data processing frameworks, and cloud-native architecture.
o Good understanding of containerization and CI/CD pipelines
