Job Summary :
We are looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer (L2) to provide operational support for enterprise network infrastructure in a 24x7 global environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for incident management, network change implementation, troubleshooting, and ensuring the availability and performance of LAN, WAN, and Data Center networks.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide L2 support for enterprise network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and Data Center environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents related to routing, switching, firewalls, load balancing, DNS/DHCP, and proxy technologies.
- Execute approved network changes while adhering to ITIL change management processes.
- Collaborate with L1, L3, vendors, and cross-functional teams to ensure timely incident resolution.
- Monitor network health and contribute to service improvements, automation, and operational efficiency.
- Maintain documentation and support major incident and problem management activities.
Required Skills :
- Strong expertise in Cisco Routing & Switching (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, HSRP/VRRP).
- Hands-on experience with Cisco ACI, Nexus, Catalyst, ASR/CSR platforms.
- Experience with F5 Load Balancers (LTM/GTM).
- Knowledge of Infoblox DNS/DHCP administration.
- Experience with FortiGate Firewalls (Cisco ASA preferred).
- Exposure to Zscaler or Bluecoat Proxy solutions.
- Familiarity with network troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark, tcpdump, traceroute, nslookup, and dig.
- Experience with monitoring and automation tools like Spectrum, NetBrain, Observe, or Ansible.
- Good understanding of ITIL processes and ServiceNow.
Preferred :
- Experience working in BFSI environments.
- Exposure to global 24x7 support operations.
- Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

- Troubleshoot issues in support of production outages within SLA/escalation guidelines.
- Consult with customers to understand the issues.
- Proactively monitor environments and respond to alerts of systems and issues.
- Having the ability to accurately document all actions taken is key to providing the best support possible.
- Capable of performing in a fast-paced technical environment. Continually identify efficiencies for systems, processes, and procedures.
Required Skills:
- Experience with Proxy
- Understanding of and Networking concepts.
- Basic Knowledge of Network terminologies (IPS/ IDS, eb Proxy, microsegmentation, DDos)
