Job Description: Education Counsellor

We are looking for a driven and people-focused Education Counsellor to join our team. The ideal candidate will excel at identifying potential students, understanding their needs, and guiding them toward the right educational solutions. You will play a key role in driving admissions by generating leads, engaging with prospects, and nurturing them through the decision-making journey.

Responsibilities

Identify and qualify potential students through various lead-generation channels.

Prospect new leads via cold calling, follow-ups, events, referrals, and digital outreach.

Understand student/parent needs and recommend suitable programs or courses.

Engage with key decision-makers and build strong advisory relationships.

Maintain accurate records of interactions, updates, and progress in the CRM system.

Achieve monthly targets and contribute to the overall growth of the admissions pipeline.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

2+ years of experience in counselling, sales, or customer-facing roles.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence decisions.

Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.

Ability to work independently, meet targets, and manage multiple leads effectively

Salary -35k-38k CTC (2+ year exp)

Shift : 10AM-7PM

Week off-Sunday

Location: PADMANABHANAGAR, Bengaluru

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance.

1–2years of accounting experience (internship experience can be considered for freshers).

Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar).

Basic knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance. Strong numerical and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment and adapt to evolving processes.

• 4-6 years of proven experience as a Full stack engineer
• 2+ years of Blockchain development experience in Hyperledger Fabric, IPFS and development of smart contracts in Golang.
• Good understanding of multiple Blockchain platforms such as Hyperledger Fabric, Quorum, Ethereum etc
• Experience in Java, JavaScript Experience in developing and designing RESTful services and APIs
• Experience in Microservices architecture
• Sound knowledge on Docker and Kubernetes applications
• Experience in Banking, Financial and Fintech domain is an added advantage
• Familiarity with Blockchain protocols is a plus
• Knowledge of Agile development environment is preferable
• Ability to work within a fast-paced, collaborative environment and handling multiple projects

• Bachelors or master’s degree in engineering (preferably Computer Science or Information Technology)

• 6+ years of experience in Java backend development with expertise in Spring/Spring Boot and RESTful services.
• Solid grasp of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), system design, and design patterns.
• Proven experience leading a team of engineers or taking ownership of modules/projects.
• Experience with AWS Cloud services (EC2, Lambda, S3, etc.) is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare the most effective sourcing approach and plan based on the final requirements, including sourcing platforms, acquisition pitch, acquisition funnel, etc.
• Drive the sourcing efforts and ensure the right quality of candidates are sourced based on the requirements and within the committed timelines.
• Communicate role specifications and terms to the candidates clearly and transparently.
• Drive negotiations with the candidates and help resolve their queries and concerns effectively.
• Communicate any specific requests or modifications required by the candidate to the Engagement Manager proactively.
• Ensure a clear track of progress, transparency, and coordination within the Expert team.
• Screen applicants on call to ensure they meet the necessary technical qualifications and requirements for the respective roles.
• Evaluate candidates' technical skills, knowledge, and abilities based on the job description.
• Provide constructive feedback and maintain detailed records of candidates' technical evaluations, feedback, and assessment outcomes.
• Generate regular reports on sourcing activities and other relevant data points.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in technical screening methodologies.
• Continuously refine and optimize the technical sourcing process to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and candidate experience.

SQL DBA, IMPLEMENTATION, SQL, DBMS, DATA WAREHOUSING

• Leads more than one projects end-to-end and collaborates across functions. Drives planning, estimation and execution.
• Manages stakeholder expectations and offers scalable, reliable, performant and easy to maintain solutions.

• Expert in JAVA, Kotlin, Reactive programming, Asynchronous programming and Dependency Injection. Experience with unit-tests and automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with any architectures like MV*(MVP/MVVM/MVI).
• Strong focus on high-quality mobile UI experiences.
• Operates independently with almost no oversight.
• Is able to apply domain expertise to think critically and make wise decisions for the team, taking into account tradeoffs and constraints.
• Communicates tech decisions through design docs and tech talks.
• Has delivered multiple projects with end-to-end engineering ownership.
• Keeps track of new technology/tools and embraces them as necessary
• 12+ years of experience in a product-driven organization.

Technologies we're working with

• MVP, JAVA and Kotlin, Realm, Firebase Real-time Database, RxJava,Kotlin Coroutines, Dagger and Retrofit.

• 2+ years of experience on Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate in medium to large-scale projects
• Must have experience with at least some flavours of both SQL (MySQL, Postgres) and NoSQL (Kafka, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, NoSQL distributed cache system, DynamoDB etc), datastores in production
• Must have experience with Kafka or similar message queue systems in production
• Stellar problem solving skills
