Position - Senior Business Analyst

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst with strong expertise in the Funds domain (Asset Management / Fund Accounting / Private Equity / Hedge Funds). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience across the investment lifecycle, NAV calculation, and fund operations, and will work closely with stakeholders, product teams, and technology teams to deliver scalable solutions for fund accounting and investment management platforms. This role requires a strong blend of domain knowledge, business analysis skills, and system implementation experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements related to fund accounting and investment operations
• Collaborate with Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office, and technology teams
• Translate business requirements into BRDs, FSDs, user stories, and data mapping documents
• Perform gap analysis, impact analysis, and support solution design for fund platforms
• Work across the end-to-end investment lifecycle: trade capture → settlement → reconciliation → NAV → reporting
• Participate in UAT planning, execution, defect tracking, and stakeholder sign-offs
• Support system implementations, upgrades, or migrations (e.g., fund accounting platforms)
• Drive process improvements, automation, and control enhancements in fund operations
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and financial reporting requirements
• Communicate effectively with global stakeholders and clients

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Asset Management / Fund Accounting / Capital Markets domain
• Strong understanding of:
• Fund Accounting & NAV calculation
• Hedge Funds / Mutual Funds / Private Equity structures
• Trade lifecycle and investment operations
• Hands-on experience in:
• Requirement gathering, BRD / FSD documentation
• UAT coordination and stakeholder management
• Agile/Scrum methodologies (JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Experience working with global clients / stakeholders

Good to Have

• Experience with fund accounting platforms such as:
• Investran, Multifonds, Eagle, SimCorp, Aladdin, Geneva, Neoxam
• Knowledge of:
• Private Equity concepts (Waterfall, Capital Calls, Carried Interest, LPA)
• Financial instruments (Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives)

This role exists to identify newsworthy videos, trending conversations, and cultural moments, verify what matters, and package them into content people actually want to click, watch, and share.

What you will own

1. Scout newsworthy videos, creator content, and trending conversations across multiple platforms.
2. Identify stories and moments worth publishing on AM:PM.
3. Research and fact-check information before it reaches our audience.
4. Write compelling headlines, video titles, push notifications, captions, and social copy.
5. Work closely with the editorial and video teams to package stories for maximum reach and engagement.
6. Stay on top of politics, business, technology, entertainment, sports, and internet culture to ensure AM:PM is always ahead of the conversation.
7. Move fast without compromising accuracy, credibility, or editorial standards.

Who you are

• 0-2 years of experience through internships, freelance work, journalism, digital media, content or editorial roles.
• You instinctively know where trends and stories break first.
• You can write headlines and notifications that make people stop scrolling.
• You have strong news judgment and understand the importance of fact-checking.
• You are internet-native, curious, resourceful, and obsessed with what's happening online.
