Job Summary:
We are looking for experienced SAP BW Consultants with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience to support BW landscape analysis, dependency mapping, complexity assessment, and effort estimation activities. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in SAP BW architecture, data modeling, reporting structures, and end-to-end data flow analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze and review SAP BW objects including DSOs, Advanced DSOs, InfoCubes, InfoObjects, PSA, Transformations, Data Transfer Processes (DTPs), InfoSets, CompositeProviders, MultiProviders, Views, BEx Queries, and Process Chains.
• Validate scope inventory and assess the completeness and accuracy of BW components.
• Map high-level Source → BW → Reporting data flows and document dependencies.
• Identify technical gaps, inconsistencies, and optimization opportunities within the BW environment.
• Perform dataset dependency analysis and support impact assessment activities.
• Contribute to complexity scoring and provide inputs for effort estimation.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical teams to gather and validate requirements.
• Prepare technical documentation, assessment reports, and findings.
Required Skills:
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP BW/BI.
• Strong knowledge of SAP BW architecture, data modeling, and reporting frameworks.
• Experience working with InfoProviders, Transformations, DTPs, Process Chains, and BEx reporting.
• Ability to analyze end-to-end data flows and dependencies.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
• Experience in system assessment, migration, upgrade, or transformation projects will be an added advantage.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred:
• Experience with SAP BW on HANA.
• Exposure to SAP Analytics, reporting tools, or data migration projects.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
3+ years of experience of Workday FINS configuration experience, across 2+ Workday modules and
2+ deployments
