Job Title: Remote AS400 Professional (7+ years of experience)

We're seeking an experienced AS400 professional to join our team remotely! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IBM iSeries (AS400) systems, including system administration, database management, and application development.

Key Responsibilities:

- System administration, configuration, and security

- Application development using RPG, Java, PHP, C++, .NET, and SQL

- Integration with other platforms, such as ERP, CRM, and SCM systems

- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues

- Collaborating with stakeholders, including business users, IT teams, and management

Required Skills:

- 7+ years of experience with AS400 systems

- Proficiency in RPG, CL, COBOL, or other programming languages

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Nice to Have:

- Experience with system upgrades and migrations

- Knowledge of IBM iSeries security and compliance

- Familiarity with industry-specific regulations (e.g., HIPAA, PCI-DSS)

Preferred Skills and qualification:

·      6+ years of strong experience in developing and maintaining AS/400 software applications.

·      Experience with multiple programing languages and systems

·      Experience with RPGLE Programming,

·      Experience with ILE Advanced concepts (Procedures, Service programs, Functions, Full Free RPG coding syntax)

·      Experience with SQL concepts and programming.

·      The ability to effectively work independently and as part of a SCRUM team providing direction and mentorship to others as needed.

·      Demonstrated project discipline and experience. Must be organized, focused, and driven toward established deliverable dates. Must be able to design solutions and form/drive related plans.
