Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced SAP MM Consultant with strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA to implement, configure, and support the SAP Materials Management (MM) module.

The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to optimize procurement and inventory management processes while ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules.

The role requires excellent functional knowledge, strong analytical skills, and hands-on experience in SAP MM implementation and support projects.

Mandatory Skills :

Key Responsibilities :

• Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into SAP MM solutions.+
• Configure and customize SAP MM modules, including:
• Procurement
• Inventory Management
• Material Valuation
• Pricing
• Handle end-to-end SAP MM implementation, rollout, enhancement, and support activities.
• Ensure seamless integration of SAP MM with SAP SD, PP, and WM modules.
• Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and implement system enhancements.
• Participate in system testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Prepare functional specifications, documentation, and user manuals.
• Conduct end-user training and support change management initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend SAP best practices.
• Stay updated with SAP S/4HANA capabilities and emerging industry trends.

Required Skills :

• 7 to 12 years of experience as an SAP MM Consultant.
• Strong expertise in SAP Materials Management (MM).
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation and support projects.
• Deep understanding of procurement, inventory management, material valuation, and pricing processes.
• Experience in SAP configuration, testing, and production support.
• Good knowledge of integration with SAP SD, PP, and WM modules.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Experience in multiple end-to-end SAP implementation or migration projects.
• Knowledge of SAP best practices and business process optimization.
• Exposure to cross-functional SAP modules and integration scenarios.

Position Overview:

• Job Title: Functional Analyst - AMEA ERP COE
• Location: Bangalore, India
• Reporting To: Domain Manager - Procurement & Manufacturing AMEA ERP COE

Experience & Education:

• Total Experience: 6–8 years in SAP MM (ECC or S/4HANA)
• Education: Graduate (minimum 4 academic years)
• Domain Experience: 3+ years in Purchasing/Manufacturing preferred
• Implementation: 3 full-cycle MM implementations; S/4HANA exposure (Advanced STO, Embedded WM)

Implementation & Functional Skills:

• Enterprise Structure Mapping: Plants, Storage Locations, Purchasing Orgs
• P2P Processes: Subcontracting, Third-party procurement, Release strategies, Inventory management, Pricing and Account determination etc.
• Cross-Border (export/ import) & Intercompany Scenarios
• Interfaces: IDOCs, ALE
• ABAP Basics: Debugging knowledge

• Independence: Handle MM/WM projects and support calls autonomously
• Cultural Sensitivity: Support countries across Asia, Middle East, and Africa

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct workshops and gather MM / WM operation requirements
• Deliver SAP solutions (Blueprints, Functional Specs, Testing, Training)
• Manage data migrations
• Ensure audit compliance
• Delivery enhancements and changes within timelines
