Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Data Architect to define and drive the target data architecture for the Horizon MVP and its future evolution. The role will be responsible for designing a scalable, secure, governed cloud data platform covering ingestion, storage, processing, analytics, APIs, and downstream data consumption.

The architect will work closely with Data Engineering, Backend, DevOps, QA, and business stakeholders to establish architecture standards and ensure the platform is ready for advanced analytics, AI/ML, vector storage, and future LLM-based capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Define the target data architecture for the Horizon MVP and establish an architecture roadmap for future scalability.
• Design end-to-end architecture covering data ingestion, storage, processing, serving, reporting, APIs, and downstream applications.
• Establish canonical data models and schemas for travel signals, corridors, sources, evidence, scores, and generated insights.
• Define data normalization strategies for structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data from multiple external sources.
• Design and govern the Databricks platform architecture, including Unity Catalog, data schemas, access controls, and governance standards.
• Establish data-retention, lineage, data-quality, security, privacy, and compliance controls.
• Define secure integration patterns between Databricks, AWS PRODIGY, SharePoint, external APIs, and downstream applications.

What We’re Looking For

Position Summary:

The ITMS (Intelligent Traffic Management System) Installation Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the installation, setup, and commissioning of ITMS components on-site. This includes managing installation teams, ensuring quality standards, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring all systems are installed on time, within budget, and according to project specifications.

1     Key Responsibilities:

• Installation Oversight: Supervise and coordinate the installation of ITMS components including Variable Message Signs (VMS), traffic sensors, cameras, controllers, and other equipment at various locations.
• Team Management: Lead and manage the installation crew, assigning tasks, setting priorities, and ensuring efficient and safe work practices are followed.
• Site Coordination: Liaise with other departments, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination between various teams working on the project. Ensure site readiness for installation activities and resolve any site-related issues.
• Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any installation issues or technical challenges promptly to minimize delays and ensure smooth system integration.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety protocols on-site, including the use of proper personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with local regulations.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of installation activities, including daily progress reports, equipment inventories, and site conditions. Provide regular updates to the Project Manager
• System Testing & Commissioning: Supervise the initial testing of installed systems, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly before handover to the operations team.

2     Skills and Qualifications:

• Education:
• A degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
• Certification in project management or installation supervision (preferred).
• Experience:
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in supervising installations of traffic management systems, electrical systems, or similar infrastructure projects.
• Hands-on experience with ITMS equipment and technology (VMS, traffic sensors, cameras, etc.) is highly desirable.
• Technical Skills:
• Knowledge of ITMS system components and their installation requirements.
• Familiarity with electrical systems, cabling, and network configurations.

3     Working Conditions:
