The internet produces thousands of stories every hour. The challenge isn't finding content, it's finding the right content. This role exists to identify newsworthy videos, trending conversations, and cultural moments, verify what matters, and package them into content people actually want to click, watch, and share.

What you will own

1. Scout newsworthy videos, creator content, and trending conversations across multiple platforms.
2. Identify stories and moments worth publishing on AM:PM.
3. Research and fact-check information before it reaches our audience.
4. Write compelling headlines, video titles, push notifications, captions, and social copy.
5. Work closely with the editorial and video teams to package stories for maximum reach and engagement.
6. Stay on top of politics, business, technology, entertainment, sports, and internet culture to ensure AM:PM is always ahead of the conversation.
7. Move fast without compromising accuracy, credibility, or editorial standards.

Who you are

• 0-2 years of experience through internships, freelance work, journalism, digital media, content or editorial roles.
• You instinctively know where trends and stories break first.
• You can write headlines and notifications that make people stop scrolling.
• You have strong news judgment and understand the importance of fact-checking.
• You are internet-native, curious, resourceful, and obsessed with what's happening online.

Key Responsibilities :

Primary Database Expertise :

1. One resource should have PostgreSQL as their primary database expertise.

2. One resource should have MySQL as their primary database expertise.

3. One resource should have either PostgreSQL or MySQL as their primary database expertise.

Secondary Database Skills :

- Proficiency in other databases such as MongoDB, MSSQL, ElasticSearch, Oracle, and Redis is a plus.

- Hands-on experience with databases in cloud environments, including GCP, AWS, or Azure, is a must.

- Familiarity with database migrations on GCP, AWS, or Azure cloud platforms is advantageous.

Qualifications and Skills :

- Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MSSQL databases.

- Strong logical thinking skills to analyze and solve complex database-related issues.

- Excellent communication and articulation abilities, with the capacity to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Proficiency in handling customer calls and addressing their database-related queries and concerns.

5. Prospecting & Lead Generation • Execute multi-channel prospecting campaigns to generate qualified leads. • Qualify inbound and outbound leads against ICP criteria before advancing them. • Collaborate with marketing on content, campaigns, and lead-gen initiatives.

6. Business Closing • Drive prospect conversations from discovery through proposal, negotiation, and closure. • Prepare and deliver clear, structured pitch materials and presentations. Work with internal teams to ensure smooth handoffs post-closure and client onboarding.
